The Erupting Volcano
On the drive down to the old airport, the volcano that destroyed it, and most of Rabaul, gave a huge display. I was a little apprehensive about our destination because the old airport was located right underneath the volcano! But thankfully the wind was in a favourable quarter, and blew the ash out to sea.
