VoIP Analysis by Perry Mowbray [V: 368/C: 0]

We have over 14 months of VoIP call records now, so it was time to do some analysis and see how the plans were performing and whether we were getting the best outcomes.

Our Telephone budget had gone from $25/week in 2003/4 to about $10/week currently, but were we getting the best performance from our VSPs?

The results were somewhat surprising and enabled some fine tuning to get even more out of the systems!

How we got our house by Perry Mowbray [V: 360/C: 0]

Frequent Flying on my Neighbour's back by Perry Mowbray [V: 233/C: 0]

Are all phone companies the same? by Perry Mowbray [V: 237/C: 0]
We have not used our Telstra account for outgoing calls for quite a while now (we've got quite a stable VoIP setup), but tonight an opportunity to have it tested presented itself via an aggressive salesman…
Those horrid roots! by Perry Mowbray [V: 255/C: 0]
When we had Merve take out our trees we thought that would be the end of it, but it was only the beginning!
How do you compost wood products? by Perry Mowbray [V: 346/C: 0]
With the removal of our trees (see this post) we gained a lot of organic matter (sections of trunk, branches, mulched twigs and leaves, wood chips from stump grinding): we asked to keep all of the material! So our front yard has piles of this woody stuff which we are hoping to compost so that we can use it in an on the garden. How do you compost wood products?
The Front Trees Have Gone!! by Perry Mowbray [V: 388/C: 0]
If you check out this photo you'll see that our tree man, Merve, has taken down the front trees.
Who Owns All the Houses? by Perry Mowbray [V: 697/C: 2]
We've been renters of houses for nearly as long as we've lived togher in them, and since buying our first home I've wondered who actually owns the houses in Australia. This post looks at some recent statistics...
The Leaf in the Front Yard by Perry Mowbray [V: 303/C: 0]
Whilst sitting at breakfast after Mass last Sunday we spotted this leaf that had somehow become speared by the tree that had born it. It may be a little hard to discern from the photo, but the leaf is 2.5 mitres above the ground! So what are the chances of that happening? And what happened really?
So where are we up to now? by Perry Mowbray [V: 319/C: 0]

It's been a while since a blog update, some of the reason is that I've moved the blog here. This entry details where we are up to with the house.

We couldn't believe it: those roots were in three levels which were all joined by vertical roots that had grafted themselves into the structure: no wonder it didn't just fall over!
