We'll be away for the next three weeks as we walk the 200 kilometres from Northern Sydney to near Newcastle on the Great North Walk!

Last weekend we did a drive through to check the shops on the way, and I've got to say that the iconic Australian General Store is not what it used to be!! Which means that our diet is going to be pretty plain, but we shouldn't go hungry.

The weather has thankfully turned a little cooler of late, it really was a bit of an Indian Summer last week, which really woke the snakes up!

We've got old Keren's mobile phone hooked up which I've emailed out. If you'd like it give home a call. We'll be turning it on each night to check for SMSs, so feel free to SMS away: we'll probably need all the encouragement we can get!
